Yoga for menThese classes are most suitable for men who have little or no experience of yoga and would describe themselves as very inflexible.

These classes help to:
Loosen areas commonly tight in men, such as hamstrings, hips and shoulders
Relieve back pain
Improve posture
Promote relaxation and stress relief
Improve breathing

The most important aspect is the breath and the pace is slow enough to allow you to breathe deeply throughout the class. This will help you to deepen the stretch and understand the workings of the posture.

The classrooms at Sunrise are upstairs so they are very quiet and private. There is no observation deck and no need to worry about ending up in a room full of stretchy people dressed in lycra!

 

The class is on Tuesday evenings, from 7.45pm until 9pm. These classes can be attended on a drop-in basis by paying €15 per class or using a class card.
